Hand Dyed Fabric
I hand dye fabric using many different techniques. I’m always testing out new methods. I mostly dye using a quilters weight 100% cotton, but I have also worked with silk and gauze. I will specify in each listing what fabric was used. I use fiber reactive procion dyes; they are non-toxic and permanent. All fabric will come to you pre-washed, ironed, and un-starched. Due to the nature of my techniques, each piece of hand dyed fabric will come to you completely unique. I may employ an ice dye technique, a water bath technique, or I may use traditional batik methods.
Currently fat quarters are listed for sale in the shop. If you are interested in yardage or custom colors, please send an email to get started.
Limited edition kits are sometimes available to go along with specific quilt patterns.
